- Clan Channel
- English Only on Clan Channel
The clan channel is, and should be open to everyone. Therefore everyone should be able to read what is said on the channel, with no exceptions. If people want to speak in a different language, then it should be taken to tells/ftalk.
- Swearing to be kept to a minimum
While most of the clan are adults, we don't mind a bit of swearing from time to time. However, we don't wish it to become a constant thing.. we're not hookers after all
- Clan Channel is Private
Anything mentioned on the clan channel is to stay within the clan. It may not be reposted on any other channel, board or in a description without permission from the person(s) involved, and all clan leaders.
- Show Respect to Fellow Clan Members
Things can sometimes become heated on the clan channel, and any arguments or disagreements should be taken to tells before things get out of hand. Personal attacks on any clan member in public will never be tolerated no matter what the reason.
- Speak 'In-Game'
We all have friend outside of the clan, and know some clan members better than others. However, to keep things simple and easy to understand for all clan members, we request that a person is spoken to using their character name. As with 1i above, everyone in the clan has the right to be able to participate in and follow any conversation, and knowing who is being spoken to is an important part in this.
- Open Channels
- Act as a Clan Ambassador
A persons behaviour often reflects on the clan they are a member of. This is why we ask all members to conduct themselves in a manner fitting of a Watchmen while speaking on public channels, and to not be drawn into arguments or insults or any other behaviour which could reflect badly on the clan.
- Channels to Leave On
We have no specific rules on channels which must be left on. People in the Helper group are encouraged to leave the gossip channel on as many people request cr's here. Clan members are also encouraged to leave the Clan Channel on always too. Having it turned off and missing an important announcement is not an excuse for ignoring the policy changes from that anouncement.
